About the grant:

The ALO supports students & practitioners which are intended to support the goals and objectives.  In this spirit, the ALO is pleased to announce the first travel grants for optometry professionals around the country. Grant support provided towards partly cover travel/registration expenses to attend any of the three national level optometry conference to present your work.

 

Who may apply:

 

• ALO LifeTime Members

• Attended ALO CONVERGE2020 Scientific conference held on 4th & 5th January 2020

​

• ALOians abstract selected in one of the above conferences for oral or poster presentation

​

​

What all need to be submitted:

 

• Cover Letter with curriculum vitae

• Abstract of paper to be presented and conference/session information

• Copy of acceptance letter from conference Organisers

• Registration confirmation copy

• Latest photograph

How to Apply:

 

• Fill online application with all the required documents

​

• Application window will be closed 40 days before the conference date

​

​

Amount:

 

• A maximum of INR 3500 Will be granted for each conference

​

Evaluation and Notification:

 

• One travel grant will be provided for each conference

 

• One person can only receive one grant in a year

 

• Successful applicants will be notified 30 days in advance to the conference date
